UAE to Launch First Sustainable AI Integration Center.
The UAE is cementing its position as a global artificial intelligence (AI) leader and opened the region first sustainable AI Integration Center in Masdar City Abu Dhabi.
World Wide Technology (WWT) and NXT Global recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly develop the one-of-a-kind facility. Located in Masdar City one of the world’s most sustainable urban hubs the Center will push boundaries as the first net-zero energy complex focused on AI integration and testing.
The Center aims to support the UAE’s National AI Strategy 2031 and vision of becoming a top AI exporter. It will provide expertise infrastructure and innovative solutions to drive significant advancements across sectors through localized full stack AI offerings.”

As part of the strategic WWT NXT Global partnership, the Center will tap into WWT’s 4 million+ square feet of integration facilities globally. This includes partnerships with Nvidia, Intel, Cisco and other leading tech firms to deliver end-to-end AI solutions on site.
Analysts estimate the Center could empower the UAE to increase local AI deployment by up to 75% while reducing costs 50% through localized resources and skills training initiatives.
Mohamed Al Breiki of Masdar City said the Center underscores their mission to foster innovation through collaborative ecosystems. “With world-class R&D facilities and a vibrant innovator community, Masdar City is driving sustainable growth for the UAE’s AI industry” he noted.
By embedding subject matter expertise in Masdar City’s sustainable tech hub, the new AI Integration Center demonstrates the UAE’s commitment to both AI leadership and environmental stewardship. It aims to cement the nation position at the forefront of emerging industries.
